As a returning visitor I want to thank you for your interest. Thanks for visiting!

Japan’s Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko arrived in Ottawa Friday afternoon for an official visit to Canada.

I went with my partner to see them during their visit to the Mackenzie-King Estate which is 10 minutes by car from our house. I can’t believe the chance we got. My partner could even exchange some word with the majesty! This was a unique chance to see someone that even japanese in Japan can’t see from that close. Separated by only 1 meter… in here Ottawa-Gatineau. Still can’t believe it, was worth the wait!

Wow, that was quite the opportunity! Not bad at all, man.

I hope you’re doing all right, by the way. This is ヤマサで勉強した米国のジョンです。(黒人のほうですけど。〈笑〉) Hope you’re doing all right!

Hey! Yes of course I remember. I am doing fine thanks and you?
Yes it felt very unreal. We were very lucky. We managed to sneak early on the ground of the Mackenzie-King Estate where the emperor had a visit scheduled. We got to see the RCMP K-9 unit searching for bombs, and lots of special agents. But there were very cool, and one of them let us go to the area reserved for the media. We are so grateful!
