Return to Japan

As a returning visitor I want to thank you for your interest. Thanks for visiting!

The receipe in the instruction manual of the black and decker B2250 Automatic Breadmaker are really crappy and don’t work very well. I will write here my own recipes that I elaborated after many trials.

Basic White Bread

1 cup of water

1/3 cup of milk

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 tablespoon butter

3 3/4 Canadian All Purpose floor, which is called Bread Floor in the U.S.

1 teaspoon of yeast

Ingredient must be added in this order: Water – Salt – Milk – Sugar – Butter – Floor – Yeast

  • Measure the water and warm up in microwave just enough to be a little warm in a Pyrex glass measuring cup.
  • Add the salt and dissolve with a spoon.
  • Add the sugar and dissolve with a spoon. Add the mix to the Baking Pan.
  • Melt the butter and Add to the Baking Pan.
  • Add the floor in the baking Pan
  • Dig a small hole in the floor, but making sure not to enter in contact with the liquids.
  • Add the Yeast to the Baking Pan in the hole you just made.
  • Insert Baking Pan in unit. Close Lid
  • Select Basic setting #1 and 2 lb loaf. Choose Crust setting.
  • Press Start.

The quantities are different for other models and I dont know about them.
