Those damn cell phone, there is nothing that makes me grind more than a cell phone that I fully paid and still I can’t do what I want with. I own a Sanyo W33SA from AU in Japan. I have a 2gig SD card and I wish to listen to music I already own the right to. But no, the Sanyo phone refuses to read from the card anything that was not created by it.

I thought it was something to do with DRM, but I manage to encode my mp3 files with the Nokia Internet Development kit. I created .dm files but the stupid phone just ignores them. After that I thought I should check how images files are handled. So pictures I took with my W333SA, are exportable to the computer and importable but other pictures from the computer are not readable. I tried renaming, coping the EXIF data, ect.

The images file created by the phone have a creation date, but the ones made on the PC have one. Could it be the reason? Also it looks like the phone has an index of created files. I need to find where it is stored.

As of yet with the software provided by AU, I haven’t been able to communicate with the calendar software. Something is broken with the Japanese software. I really hate SANYO and AU. I don’t want to buy Jpop on Lismo…help?
