Hello! I am back from Tokyo and I don’t want to go back there ever again! There is too much people it’s pure madness. I feel at home in Nagoya now. But Toyko is …well Odaiba is the only fun place. Very calm and the visit to Fuji Tv was interesting. I could even see that guy who always was wearing sunglasses on TV. The hotel was the best choice we could have made. Great view of the Tokyo Tower. So great I did not wanted to leave the room. Or even actually go at the tower. We went to tokyo 電気街 [でんきがい: DENKIGAI] Electric Town (Akihabara) and stopped at a PLC shop, I guess I am not your average geek. The Omron display was nice. After 45minutes we had enough of leather-clad almost naked cuties selling cell phones, when everybody in Japan already have one!

More to come, if I don’t get stoped again by the police in Japan…

On the picture with the apple logo, I saw a lot of people, this makes me wonder if the roads always crowded with lots of cars. Do people in the city move in cars or by foot?

On the same picture, we saw circulation panels. Is it like Montréal with something like 8 panels at the same place indicating who can park where and nobody understand the panels?

Is the first picture your hotel view. If it is, you had a real great view of the city !!

Nick, yes there is always people walking or cycling on the sidewalks. Especialy in Tokyo. Its the same thing in Nagoya. However because in the Aichi area there are many Toyota and Denso factories people use more cars. As for Tokyo, there is too much car and people. On the picture, its not because the Apple Store was popular or something, just normal pedestrians.

About the signs, one of them just says, Firehydrant here ( Right, tallest red sign ) 消火栓 [しょうかせん: SHOUKASEN]
The other says, pedestrian crossing, in blue, and then you have guessed, no entry. And nobody can park there, there is no space!

Yes this was the view from my hotel! I have night pictures also comming soon.
