We are starting already the preparation for the second exam of next Monday. They sure do love exams at Yamasa. Hahaha! The review this time is also so-so, we had the review one week before the exam, and now we are learning new stuff. Very strange way… I will have to make a great effort again to make my own review material.
Last Saturday I found a supermarket with incredibly low prices. Near Minami Koen, there is a Domy or something like that. The milk is 138 yens instead of 158 at Feel News. I am talking about the cheapest brand, the one from the supermarket itself. On average, everything is 30yens cheaper. And also the selection is larger, for example the Cisco cereal is offered in two flavors usually, but at the “new” supermarket there is a 3rd one. Demographic could explain why prices are so low. There were many Brazilian and older people and the building is a flashback from the old “Provigo” from Quebec. There is a small 100yens shop and a fast-food stand. Meat is also discounted! However, since this supermarket is far from other accommodations, Feel News is still better than Seiyu. We found 2 expired goods at Seiyu at an outrageous price. We had those discarded. But if you live in Residence U, than the distance and time is the same. So, 99 shop and Domy ( I need to confirm the store name) are the cheapest. As you have noticed, I am doing my best to cut my living expenses. I will soon prepare for winter in Okazaki. More on that later.
