With recent event in Lebanon it reminds you how important it is to register on the Canadian consulate services website. It is even more important to keep your contact information up to date. As I moved from the Yamasa Student village to the Residence U, my details were incorrect. Someone from the embassy tried to contact me. I gave them the Student village phone number. They were unable join me. But I left to my ex roommate my mobile phone number. They were able to finally find me after a week. Apparently they tried to send me an email, but I did not reply. It went probably in the spam folder. Anyway now I am correctly registered, and I know the name of the person in the Aichi area who will be my contact in case of emergency.
