It is this time of the year when I have my stuffy nose, red eyes, zombie look. I wonder if I will have problems during the blossoming of sakuras in Japan. I heard a lot of Japanese are affected. Also, there is a ban on medicine of the likes of Sudafed. My guess is that I should bring a lot of loratadine ( Allegra generic name ). But after a week of too, effect of the product tend to wear off. I have then to switch to Reactine. It makes me very sleepy, convenient when I have to sleep during the day because of my awful work schedule. This is troublesome… must hold until the end of October.

Unless you wanna spend a couple of hours trying to explain to non-English speaking custom officers what it really is, I strongly advise NOT to bring any medicine when you come to Japan, lest you have a prescription.
